Red pixels do not work on television

My T.V went black, the channel button did not work, and the power button flashed. I unplugged the T.V. When it came back on, all the red pixels didn't work. Just the blue and yellow. How can I fix this this. I tried the tent on the tv but to no avail. Help, Bahnamous

Re: Red pixels do not work on television

Check for a bad solder connection both at the crt socket and on the main board.

RCA 32V434T (32'') TV has no Red or Green pixels, only Blue

The color problems are caused by cracked/broken solder joints on the circuit that controls the display.  Usually this is located at the back of the tube on a small circuit board. Your description suggests that only the blue signal circuit is intact. I suggest these joints be resoldered for more strength.
It's a possibility that another IC senses this problem (or another one) and then shuts down the system.
Resolder those joints and see what happens.

How to unlock my jensen tv

the tv should have buttons to change the input also. Or just hit channel up on the tv, that should do the same. That should do the trick if it is on the wrong input/channel. You could also try unplugging the tv for a minute. My tv goes back to channel 3 when unplugged.

Before you do anything else, make sure you do a hard reset. Unplug your television for an hour or two and then plug it back in. If you are still seeing the blinking lights and no picture or sound then we know of several possible prolbems that it might be. All of which require a local repair service to open the tv and replace a part.

I got on internet searched found a solution, i tried it, it worked. unplug tv, remove all screws, remove back. towards bottom right theres a transmitter with a couple of knobs, we plugged tv in and moved knobs around and it worked. Also was extremally dusty, we used computer duster for a better connection. hope it helps you
