Question about Brother HL 5150D Laser Printer
I just replaced my drum in my 5150d brother laser printer, and the copies are very light to a point where they are unreadable. I rechecked the instalation of the toner and the drum and all is well.
I put the old drum back in with the same toner cartridge and the print is correct but has the slight line at the end which is the reason I changed the drum, otherwise the copy is fine.
Is there something i CAN DO TO TROUBLSHHOT THIS PROBLEM WITH THE NEW DRUM?
Drum may be defective must be repalced.
When replacing drum, be sure to reset the drum counter for HL 5150D:
-Open the toner compartment door, and hold the go button for 5 seconds.

Sounds like the new drum is not good. Can you return it and get another?
