Question about HP PSC 2355 All-In-One InkJet Printer
There is a paper sensor that senses when paper is loaded. If there are no obstructions you can see then that sensor is defective and the cost to replace it would be more than buying a new printer unless you are an electronics technician. Check your warranty first of course.

Try cleaning the paper rollers and the print head.
Use a wet cloth to clean the paper rollers.
Use a little amount of water and some alcohol (Isopropyl alcohol) to clean the print head. (You may not need to do this if your printer cleans it automatically through software utility.
This may be also have caused by the low ink level. Replacing the cartridge should solve this problem.
