Removed each toner (one at a time). Turn them over (so the label is facing the floor) and slide the shutter door (piece of black plastic, approx. 1"x10") so it moves left or right. This will expose the drum unit. Look at each and see if there are any streaks, marks, or excess toner. Also, are these compatible toners? Look for leaking toner inside the printer. Use a good flashlight. If that doesn't work, you may have a torn fuser sleeve (depending on what the mark/line looks like). If that is the case, it may cost too much to repair.

Remove all the toner cartridges and then u need to clean the dirt collected in the printer.you can blow air with a blower machine.then shake the cartridges up side down for few minutes and then insert 1 by 1.it will work. the problem is either the dirt/dust collected in the printer or the cartridges are got over and needs refilling or replacement.

Hp 2600n line

after you have printed a few pages switch the machine off just as the paper leaves the fuser. then open the front cover and take a close look at the image transfer belt ( black plastic conveyor type belt)
use a torch shone accross the belt to better light the error- if you can see these Green/yellow/cyan lines on the belt then theres a good chance its coming from the toner units- ( also try print quality troubleshooting pages in the menus under diagnostics.look at the individual colour pages and look for any lines or Uneveness about the shaded colour) replace whichever toner is not printing correctly

Fuser error 50.2 laserjet 2605dn Printer was not use at least two months. When I try print today I got this message for first time. 25 minut time out (power out) doesn't work.

If the printer is not plugged directly into the wall outlet, power it off and plug it into the wall. Power on. If message comes back, replace the fuser. If not, leave it plugged into the wall.
50.2 means that the fuser is getting too hot.

HP LaserJet 1600 printing 2 lines on paper, Uneven but straight.

If the line is one specific color, then change the corresponding toner cartridge. (You may be able to see the line on the drum in the toner cartridge.) If the line is a mix of colors, then it is probably either the transfer belt or the fuser. In either case, you could replace the whole printer for about the same cost as repair.

HP Laserjet 2600n networking

When you print a test page from the general tab of the printer properties dialogue, it completely bypasses the print spooler. Since your test pages print correctly, this tells us quite a bit. Some of it good and some of it bad.

The Good:

The printers, base driver install, connections and protocols are all functioning correctly.

The Bad:

The printers, base driver install, connections and protocols are all functioning correctly making it much more difficult to pinpoint the problem.

JetDirect printing through the print spooler can be trouble prone with no clear solution. The fact that the 2600n is a host based GDI printer can make it even more so however I still have a couple of things to try.

1-Search for Localspl.dll and check the version number, file size etc. etc. If it is anything other than:

(32 bit x86)
Localspl.dll 5.2.3790.4046 342,016 23-Mar-2007 20:24 x86

Or:

(64 bit x64)
Localspl.dll 5.2.3790.4046 750,080 23-Mar-2007 22:15 x64

then request a copy of this file from Microsoft here:

https://support.microsoft.com/contactus2/emailcontact.aspx?scid=sw;[LN];1414&from=KBHotfix&WS=hotfix

See KB934885 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/934885
for more info. You may want to try the registry tweak there to see if it can help pinpoint the problem as well.

2-Download the latest firmware for the 2600n from HP. There have been at least 2 firmware updates that I know of for this printer. I don't know if any of the updates fixed issues with network printing but at this point it can't hurt.

Firmware: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=446153&prodNameId=446154&swEnvOID=1005&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=ly-32271-4
