Question about Baumatic Kitchen Ranges
Generally, there is an item called a thermocouple which is a safety sensor built into the gas valve. This is a thin tube with a through 'bolt' on the end that screws into the valve. It is supposed to sit near the burner. It sees the burner lighting...or not. If the unit is bad, the burner gas is shut off. Find it, remove it, noting the exact placement. Take it to the appliance parts guy and get a new one and install it. If this doesn't fix it, the valve is bad.

Gas ovens normally suppose to start after 45sec-1 min. If oven starts after 2-3 min and flame very low and thermostat indicator light stays on - replace glow ignitor.
