my maytag freezer not wotking correctly, the top shelf not cold, I bought a meat and tryed to put it on the top shelf, unfortunately, my meat went to the garbage and just the botttom shelf takes time to freeze, better than the top shelf
any help ?

SOURCE: Maytag upright freezer with self defrost. The water line freezes.

This sounds like your defrost heating coil has gon bad. Not much you can do but replace it. Please leave a good thumbs up for me for the effort. Pretty sure I'm correct on this one. The Raz Shack

check for a bad/ loose/dirty gasket on the bottom side ofn the door. check your drainage line for clogging on the defrost system for back up

My upright freezer is making a loud screaching noise something like a car's slipping fan belt makes in winter. It is still freezing but sounds like something is on the way out.

If you have the model number you posted under, you are looking at replacing the evaporator fan motor, which would be a part number 4309014 for that Maytag MQU1556A. It is located inside the freezer, behind the lower back wall.
