I have an Airco ACBN1550A Brad Nailer Kit. The oil is now getting low. How do you add oil. Set the nailer on end, remove oil sight glass and add oil?????? Ron

Hi Ron,

Just drop a few drops of pneumatic oil in the male adapter/connector with it upside down. Don't put too much in.

Hope this helps. If it does, I'd appreciate your vote. Thanks,

Nain plunger does not retract

Sounds like you haven't been oiling it. Or maybe oiling too much.

Some of those finish nailers don't need oil. If you've been oiling one of those, it's probably all gummed up.

My PowerBase air nail gun leaks oil through the air connection when I turn it upright unconnected.

Hey bob, however it is being oiled, it is too frequent. It won't damage anything, besides getting oil all over everything.

Does nailer requier oil and where does in go

Just a few drops of oil twice a day if used all day. Drop oil down quick connect. Too much oil is not good. You can store gun with quick connect pointing down to spill out access. Easy to tell which nailers do not use/use oil. Stamped on the back of the gun neer quick fitting, will be (oil or oil here). I use nail gun oil from Lowes, bostitch or paslode brand.

I own a hitachi nr90ac3 framing nailer and i

Oil leaking out of the nailer anywhere is just an indication that too much oil is being introduced. A good solution would be to reduce the amount of drops until no more leaks out or use an in line oiler at the gun. An oiler costs under ten dollars and feeds in oil vapor as you use air. Store / hang your nailer with the air inlet down at night to drain out access oil. Do not worry too much about the leaking though, I think that a bit too much oil is better than a lack of oil. Good luck.

How do you oil a nailer?

first off some nail guns do not need to be oiled, but the gun you have listed does need to be oiled you just drip a few drops of oil in the hole where the air hose connects to the gun, but make sure that you are useing the right oil make sure it is pneumatic oil for air nailers. the gun should have came with some oil if it was bought new if not you can get the oil at Lowes, Home Depot, or any other home improvement store
