The question here is are your talking about Bluetooth devices? If so, if you don't see the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar, open System Preferences and go to blue tooth. Here you can search for Bluetooth devices such as keyboards, mice, phones and printers. The devices you'll be connecting will nee to be in pairing mode. The Bluetooth Apple Keyboard and mouse will go into this mode if they cannot find a connected computer or tablet.

According to the official website of the Bluetooth wireless
technology is used to transfer data over short distances through the use of
radio broadcasts shortwave and mobile devices to send. Dell Bluetooth adapters
are compact, wireless devices used for keyboards, mice, printers and communication
headset to connect. Sometimes no sign of the adapter to be read as the adapter

installation of a utility that will re-configure the wireless adapter mode if
the Bluetooth does not work.

1. Insert the Bluetooth adapter on your electronic device or
computer.

2. Go to the site of Dell's technical support for the
utility to install your adapter mode will change. In "Support Tools",
select "Hardware" and select "Bluetooth Devices" in "a
problem" (or see link in Resources below). Under-350 Bluetooth, click the
download link to start the installation.

3. When the download box appears, choose "Save
File". In the Save As window, again select "Save." Check the box
next to "Close this dialog" with the installation.

4. The installation is complete, select "Run
Program". Follow the instructions on the screen can.

5. Avoid close all boxes when the program runs
automatically. The utility will begin to reconfigure the device from the Bluetooth
adapter. Restart the computer when the program is completed.

6. Try using the Bluetooth device. If operational problems
occur, contact a Dell Support representative for assistance.
Go to System Preferences (click the apple log in upper left hand corner)
selecting system preferences will launch window with multiple icons
double click bluetooth
click advanced to see if all options are selected, then click ok

Problem with the Mac Laptops
How to enable bluetooth in bios setting in acer 4736Z?
SOLUTION NO 1:
Check your device manager first, if your Bluetooth driver not installed
properly, then you have to installed it first. If you don't have that
driver you can download it from internet. You have to specify the model
no. of your laptop and Bluetooth after that you can download and install
the driver and use your Bluetooth. If you find any difficulty in
installing driver then there are web sites where you can find the whole
procedure step by step.
SOLUTION NO: 2
I think you have installed a wrong driver or your driver has not been
installed properly. You should check first in device manager for
installed driver, if it is installed then you can see in a list below in
that and if not then you have to install that first. You can download a
Bluetooth driver for your machine from internet. You have to out your
model no. of your laptop and you'll find it. After installing you can
see the driver in device manager or it can also be seen in a icon near task bar.
SOLUTION NO: 3
Install the driver of your Bluetooth from a cd or download it from
internet. After downloading install it in your system and it will work
fine. If this does'nt work for you, then get an external Bluetooth it
come with its own driver so you don't need to install it from internet.
If you don't know the procedure of installation then follow the
instruction in cd or online, it will help you in installation.
HOPE THIS SOLUTIONS IS HELPFUL TO YOU...................
It's most likely the bluetooth icon. You can use bluetooth to up/download files from a bluetooth compatible phone, or other device into your laptop. You need to "find" and "connect" both pieces of equipment to work together first. Similar to a bluetooth headset with your phone. Easy to do and then it's easy to transfer files..
is it discoverable? click on the bluetooth icon on the upper right corner of your finder bar, and set up new bluetooth device. make sure both your phone, and your mac are "discoverable" in system preferences under bluetooth.
