How do you register a device on macbook? or is this done automatically? : thank you!!

The question here is are your talking about Bluetooth devices? If so, if you don't see the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar, open System Preferences and go to blue tooth. Here you can search for Bluetooth devices such as keyboards, mice, phones and printers. The devices you'll be connecting will nee to be in pairing mode. The Bluetooth Apple Keyboard and mouse will go into this mode if they cannot find a connected computer or tablet.

How to enable bluetooth in bios setting in acer 4736Z?

HI...........................

Problem with the Mac Laptops How to enable bluetooth in bios setting in acer 4736Z?

SOLUTION NO 1:

Check your device manager first, if your Bluetooth driver not installed properly, then you have to installed it first. If you don't have that driver you can download it from internet. You have to specify the model no. of your laptop and Bluetooth after that you can download and install the driver and use your Bluetooth. If you find any difficulty in installing driver then there are web sites where you can find the whole procedure step by step.

SOLUTION NO: 2

I think you have installed a wrong driver or your driver has not been installed properly. You should check first in device manager for installed driver, if it is installed then you can see in a list below in that and if not then you have to install that first. You can download a Bluetooth driver for your machine from internet. You have to out your model no. of your laptop and you'll find it. After installing you can see the driver in device manager or it can also be seen in a icon near task bar.

SOLUTION NO: 3

Install the driver of your Bluetooth from a cd or download it from internet. After downloading install it in your system and it will work fine. If this does'nt work for you, then get an external Bluetooth it come with its own driver so you don't need to install it from internet. If you don't know the procedure of installation then follow the instruction in cd or online, it will help you in installation.

HOPE THIS SOLUTIONS IS HELPFUL TO YOU...................

GOOD LUCK.......................

How can I upload music from my MacBook to a Samsung Star Mobile phone

If the music file is in a compatible format (.mp3 or what ever the phone requires) then you can transfer over Bluetooth. You will have to set that up first:
  1. Make sure the Bluetooth on you phone is on & that it is set to "Discoverable"
  2. Turn on your Macs Bluetooth in System Preferences app (under the Internet & Wireless section, select Bluetooth. Select the "on" check box).
  3. In the same system preferences window, click the little "+" sign at the bottom left.
  4. Follow the steps of the setup assistant
Your phone should now be in the list on the Bluetooth System Preferences window.
To send a file:
  1. highlight your phone in that list
  2. click the little "gear w/ arrow" button at the bottom of the list.
  3. A dropdown menu will appear. Select "Send file..."
  4. Find the file on your computer & click send
  5. Your phone will probably prompt you to either accept of deny the incoming file, make sure you accept this.
  6. Hopefully, your phone will place the file in the appropriate location in your phones file system (it should).
  7. Repeat as many times as desired (or until you run out of space).
  8. Don't forget to turn the Bluetooth back to OFF on both of your devices so as to conserve battery while enjoying your tunes.
And that's it.

PowerBook G4 Mac Notebook: what is the icon immediately to the left of the an...

It's most likely the bluetooth icon. You can use bluetooth to up/download files from a bluetooth compatible phone, or other device into your laptop.
You need to "find" and "connect" both pieces of equipment to work together first.
Similar to a bluetooth headset with your phone.
Easy to do and then it's easy to transfer files..
