E19t5w screen problem

Yellow is to Battery, Red is to fuse panel acc. positive' Black is to a good GROUND. bLUE IS TO POWER ANTENNA. WHITE AND WHITE W/ BLACK STRIPE WIRES ARE SPEAKER WIRES sOLID COLORS ARE POS. Green and green w/ black stripe speaker again .Then Purple and Purp w/black stripe speakers, and gray and grayw/black stripe speakers . that should be good.

It may sound strange but be absolutely sure the cable is plugged into the monitor. Adapter on the computer. The serial adapter on the back looks just like video. Video actually has a faintly noticeable monitor icon rigtht next to it. Plugging into a serial can eventually blow out your monitor. Also, a.badcable can do the same thing. And if you have messed up the monitor's settings you will see the same

Okay. Hook black to black.
Green to green with white stripe.
Yellow to red with white stripe.
That should work. Nothing is going to blow up if it's wrong. It just won't work.

the RJ45 wallplate is not meant for ethernet. It's an 8P8C connector for a phone. Will it work as a network jack? Maybe. I wouldn't use it, but if you really want to try, wire it thusly:

1 Blue --- Orange/White
2 Orange --- Orange
3 Black --- Green/White
4 Red --- Blue
5 Green --- Blue/White
6 Yellow --- Green
7 Brown --- Brown/White
8 White --- Brown

I'd still recommend a CAT5 wallplate with a CAT5 jack.

Check that your monitor is connected properly and tightly to the computer. If it is, then the monitor may be bad. Borrow a friend's monitor and try to see if it works, if someone else's monitor works, then replace your monitor.

On the monitor below the screen has these fine pink and green lines blinking across the screen all the time on my laptop. Can you tell me how to fix it or solve this problem?

Sorry time for a new monitor you might open it up and look at the capacitors and see if any need to be replaced the bad ones will be domed on top normal is completely flat

Hi Detrix, Check with www.lcdrepair.net if you want a repair. Something is wrong with your LCD controller and or GUI interface circuit or the circuit supplying power to it. If your technically endowed, you may want to open the monitor case and clean the dust and lint from around the circuits using a Small paint brush to sweep away any built up dust. These circuits take the Signal from the computer and controls the 2.5 million pixels on the LCD screen. Dsut can cause major problems with handling all that data. Give it a shot, what do you have to loose, its not dangerous if the monitor is unplugged.
