Is it possible to change my MEDIA RECEIVER PDP-RO3U to PDP-RO6U media receiver? I'm thingking, instead of buying a new PLASMA with HDMI input i rather change my media receiver if possible to save more money. Do you think it will work on my PDP-4330HD? I e-mailed pioneer but i haven't got any response from them yet. I hope you can answer my question soon before the auction end for PDP-RO6U.
Thank you so much!
Sincerely,
Aris

I bought a 503 which had this problem, it would stay on for anything between 10 mins & 3 hours.
the guy told me he had been told it was a condensation sensor.
All I did was take back off, blow it out all boards with an air line, disconect fans. I ve had it 6 months now with not a single problem.

first of all check out the fuse that mostly get blowned out in this problems.if the fuse is perfect then it could be the faulty capacitor issue check out on the main board with the help of the multimeter and replace the faulty ones and it should work properly.

This could be an HDCP "hand shake" problem. Try turning both the TV and the connecting device off, connect the two using HDMI, turn both of them back on, select the proper input and see if you get a picture. If nothing happens try the other HDMI inputs by following the steps listed above. I hope this helps.
See the following Thread for more information about problems with the Pro-Ro6u.

DO any of the lights blink when this is happening? Do you hear any clicking noise before the lights turn red. I mean multiple clicks?
Please provide this info so that we can continue with the diagnosis.
