Question about Acer LXA3706003 Notebook
Try boot safemode and restore the hdd to last known configuration is probably the best solution,MBR is a nice place to sort out when its not working, for what ever reason,I'd also take out the hard drive ,take to another computer and save all the contents you need then restore to factory defaults to clear any issues from the last install.
this will give you an operating machine in minutes as long as you have a OS loaded on it otherwise you risk losing all......BOO
After restoring to factory defaults you will then have to load up all the updates and reinstall the other bits and pieces you use.
If you lucky you might have a restore partition allready loaded on your hdd,or a disk with everything you need.
Good luck and let me know if you need more help thanks

The might be a problem with MBR. What brand of HDD you have there might be bootable image of software on the manufacturers website that can fix the problem. If you are using windows, then boot from the Installation CD and type fixmbr in the recovery console, this might work, but be careful with MBR.
