Holding down buttons didn't seem to help. I also tried putting into the USB port of my computer. The ready indicator with the icon showing it is attached to the computer comes up. The (Windows Vista) computer shows a drive letter for the device but says drive not available when you try to browse it.

Try resetting the device it?s usually a small pinhole on the back or side of the device try holding that in for about 10 seconds IF THIS DOES NOT WORK TRY THIS: Try reflashing the firmware for your device you can find the latest firmware and flashing utilities from the Coby's website. Make sure that you back your music up first because when you do this you are setting it back to factory settings.

I didn't have a problem accessing the flash memory of my Coby mp4 until I upgraded to Media Player 11. Now it recognizes the coby for what it is, but I can't explore the flash memory like I used to. It used to recognize it as another drive, now it shows up as a portable media device. Do I have to go back to MP10 to get it back or is there another way?

It sounds like you may have a faulty battery. I would return the mp3 player for a new one.

My coby mp3 player only work while charging.

the power switch is fragile - if you break it then you cannot turn on the player. plugging in the charger will turn it on but only while the is power coming from the charger.

Coby MP3 player doesnt work anymore

I have the same problem with mine. Just return it to the company with a copy of the receipt and six dollars to pay for the shipment of the replacement. If you've had it for more than ninety days though I don't know what you could do.
