Cartridges will not align

Got a solution from this same site on another posting and it worked! Push the "Enter" and "Set-up" buttons at the same time and this should cancel the alignment. Another user said they had to hit the "Set-up" button a fraction of a second after the "Enter" button. Hope this works for you.

I went into "My Computer," clicked on Printers and then help. My Dell help told me that the most likely cause of cartridges not aligning was that one or both of the cartridges were empty. I think the color one was probably empty, and in all my efforts to run the alignment, I managed to empty the black one as well. I put two new ones in, and everything works now.
