We can't remember exactly how to give the pup commands. We lost the instructions and we're trying to find the instructions. Can someone provide the instructions? Thanks

I also lost the directions for Lucky the incredible wonder pup. We are unable to operate him. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I hate to say it, but the instructions might not do you any good. Our pup doesn't respond to any commands. Very disappointed kids on Christmas morning. Since I bought him at Target, the only way to get him fixed ( since they won't they me return "used" toys) is to mail the dog in for repairs, costing more $$$$.

I found this on a review of the dog:
Playing with Lucky is pretty simple but does require some learning. Lucky is programmed to respond to 15 different commands but the commands must be issued the same way each time. First, you say Lucky's name to engage him. Once you say "Lucky" (or whatever name you give him) he will then respond to you with 2 barks. After he goes ruff-ruff, then you can tell him what to do. The commands are as follows:

Speak to Me - he will sit or stand & bark
Come Here - he will run forward and back
Pounce - he will crouch and pounce excitedly
Lay down - he will lay down on his tummy
Sit - he sits
Want a Treat? - he stands and barks (begs)
On your head - He does a headstand
Go to sleep - lays down, snores and enters sleep mode
Sing a song - he'll bark one of 2 songs
Good Dog - acts excited by shuffling his feet
Bad Dog - he crouches down
Put 'em up - he'll stand up on his hind legs. Then when you say "bang bang" he plays falls down and plays dead.
Tug of War - he opens his mouth for you to put in his leash, he closes his mouth and tugs a little

Lucky also comes with a "sleep" mode and automatically shuts off after not being played with for 3 minutes.

Playing with Lucky is pretty simple, you command and Lucky performs. Well, Lucky performs most of the time. You need to be sure that he has your attention (barking twice) first before issuing the command. A few of the tricks are a bit more complicated - Put 'em up & Tug of War but the rest are very straight forward. I do notice that both my husband and I had the tendency to want to 'yell' or raise our voices when commanding Lucky - but that isn't necessary.

Say his name first, then the command.

Lucky - Speak to me - sits or stands and barks
Lucky - Come here - Runs forward and barks
Lucky - Pounce - Crouches forward and pounces
Lucky - Lay down - lays down
Lucky - Sit - Sits
Lucky - Shake hands - stands on hind legs and shakes hands
Lucky - Want a treat - stands and barks
Lucky - Tug of war - Crouches forward, opens mouth for rope, closes mouth and tugs
Lucky - On your head - Falls forward and stands on head
Lucky - Go to sleep - Lays down, snores, and goes into sleep mode (power on/off to reset)
Lucky - Sing a song - sings one of his favorite songs
Lucky - Good dog - Sits or stands and shuffles feet
Lucky - bad dog - Goes into a crouch
Lucky - Put 'em up - Stands on hind legs with front legs raised
Bang bang (say this, NOT Lucky, after Put em up) - Falls backwards and whines

You just say his name (Lucky) and wait for the two barks. Once you hear that, you speak the commands, such as:

Speak to me
Beg
Pounce
Lay down
Tug of war
Sit
Put em up
On your head
Bad dog
Good dog
Sing a song
Go to sleep
Come here
Want a treat?

You have to yell lucky, then he will bark 2 times to let you know he is paying attention. (you must always do this before each command or he will not respond) then here is his list of commands,
1. bang bang
2. sing a song (he sings 2 different songs)
3.come here
4. lay down
5.on your head
6.put em up
7.play dead
8.speak to me
9.shake hands
10.play tug of war (he should have come with a peice of red fabric)
11.pounce
12.sit
13.want a treat
14.good dog
15.bad dog
