Most phone will not allow you to simply transfer Mp3s directly to your phone as they will not read the format. Please respond with the make and model of your phone and perhaps I can be of more assistance.

When I put in a Verbatim SDHC 4GB into the modem it won't do anything.

Apparently your device (do you really mean a modem, or is it a card reader) isn't SDHC-compatible, only SD-compatible. SDHC cards have an electronic incompatibility and will only work in devices specifically designed for them.

I have an Exilim EX Z500 digital cam, the recent Micro SD that inserted to it have only 256MB that's too short.. so I bought a 4GB Micro SD card.. but why can't my EX Z500 accept a 4GB?

The problem is that your camera will only read SD cards, not SDHC cards, I checked its specification. You found your 256Mb card too small and bought a replacement, not noticing that it was SDHC. The new card doesn't work, not because it or the camera is broken, but because it's not compatible.

Cards up to 2Gb are generally SD. Cards over 8Gb have to be SDHC. 4Gb cards can be either SD or SDHC, but are almost always SDHC because they're cheaper. I'm willing to bet that the 4Gb card you got is actually SDHC because 4Gb SD cards are so rare that I've even seen a guru on this site claim they don't exist. I did own one once, but it was very expensive and turned out to be so unreliable that I had to return it.

Your solution is to go find a 2Gb card, and be extra sure that it doesn't say "SDHC" on it. (If it does, it probably means that they made a 4Gb card, but there were some error locations and so they disabled half of it and packaged it as a cheap-brand 2Gb.)

UNABLE TO ACCESSMY 4GB MICRO SD CARD

Your memory card reader lacks SDHC compatibility. You must either update your pc card reader to one which is compliant with SDHC or use a cheap external card reader to do the job.

SD and SDHC cards look the same and fit the same slots, but they have significant technical differences which older readers cannot handle.

Cannot install 4GB card into TL220. Do I have the

According to Samsung's page on this camera, the following memory can be used:

External Memory(Optional) : Micro SD (up to 4GB)
Micro SDHC (up to 8GB)

4 GB is acceptable, but I think you do not have the correct type of card. You should be using a Micro SD or "Micro Secure Digital" (up to 4GB capacity) or a Micro SDHC or "Micro Secure Digital High Capacity" (up to 8 GB capacity) card. This is very different from an SD or SDHC card. These Micro cards are very small (smaller than your thumbnail) and are often packaged with an SD adapter card. Regardless if sold with or with out the adapter, the package should say Micro SD or Micro SDHC on it somewhere.

Whwthwr Canon IXUS 700 can accept Micro SDHC card

Sorry, but according to Canon's technical specs, your camera was designed only for use with standard SD card format. SDHC format will not work with it, and will likely give you a memory card error.

Micro SD card not read

The Sansa c250 and lower cannot read SDHC cards. They must be regular SD cards for the c250 to "see" them. That is, they must be of 2GB capacity or lower. If the card is 4GB or higher, it is a SDHC card and will not work.

If the 4gb micro SD is a high capacity SD (it will say micro SDHC on it) your player may not be able to read SDHC cards, my sansa can't because it's the 'older version' it will read 2gb and below micro SD cards though (it sucked when I found out because I had just bought a 6gb micro SDHC)
