Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
SEND IT IN IF YOU ARE STILL UNDER WARRANTY!
There has to be dust build up or debris blocking the mechanisms in the drive from closing or completing their motion.
You can, AT YOUR OWN RISK (and if someone sounds like they are not sure, they probably aren't), go to craigslist, find your area and I'm sure there is someone that can fix it for you. Easy fix and you shouldn't pay anyone very much to do it.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
