Intel D848PMB MOTHERBOARD PANEL

I would like you to download the Motherboard Manual for the Intel D848PMB mobo, from Intel,
(Mobo = MOtherBOard),

http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/d848pmb/sb/cs-008915.htm?wapkw=%28Intel+D848PMB%29

On this page click on the first file listed.

Click on the blue - Product Guide - PDF, above the file name,

File Name: D848PMB_ProductGuide_English02.pdf

It may take as long as 30 seconds before you see the first page. It may also take additional time to fully download the file.

This is just a temporary download so that you can view the file. (Manual)
There is a way to download it to your computer for safekeeping.
(This way you can also burn a copy to a CD disk, and delete it from your computer to save harddrive space)

If you do not know how, and wish to, please state in a Comment.

Orient the motherboard in your mind, so that we are both looking at it in the same direction.
With the computer case open the motherboard will be sitting in this direction;

Processor to the top, (Processor fan on top of Processor), Ram Memory to the right, and the white PCI slots (3) are to the bottom.

The Front Panel header is located at the bottom Right corner. It is situated on the Right side.

(The plastic front of your computer is the Front Panel. The area of pins on the motherboard that the Front Panel cable, (Wires), connect to is the Front Panel Header)

There is two columns of pins. The header itself is vertical, (Parallel to the Right side), with pins arranged in two's going down the header.

In the Motherboard Manual (Product Guide) on Page 12, the letter S points to the Front Panel header.

The Front Panel header's pins are numbered. The numbering begins from the BOTTOM of the motherboard, and increases going towards the top.

(Page 35. The letter E points at the Front Panel header.
It is also named J9H3. Junction 9 Header 3)

Bottom RIGHT column starting from the BOTTOM of the motherboard, going towards the top,

Pins 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9.

Bottom LEFT column starting from the BOTTOM of the motherboard, going towards the top,

Pins 2, 4, 6, and 8. (There is NO Pin 10)

Page 36,

1) Pins 1 and 3 are for the HarDDrive Activity LED light. (Blinks when the harddrive is active, and in use)

2) Pins 5 , 7, and 9 are for a Reset switch. (Reset button)
This is IF a reset switch is used.

(This is what CTRL, ALT and DELete are for)

3) Pins 2 and 4 are for the Power On LED light.

[NOTE*
If the HDD Activity LED light, or the Power On LED light are dim, switch the wires around]

4) Pins 6 and 8 are for the Power On switch.

For additional questions please post in a Comment.

Regards,
joecoolvette

My intel d848pmb motherbord in not giving display how to solve it reply me on my id Atiq_killer@yahoo.com plz i m wating for ur good ans

You have an integrated video card on this motherboard? AND u are not getting output to your Monitor? If so, install another video card to see if u will get output to the monitor. If u do, your video output problem is solved. If the integrated video card is the only thing not working on the board, then u can continue using the same board as usual. Be sure to remember to plug ur monitor into ur new graphics card.
