Can't say its new bt its surely new form me. I have buyed two Gigabyte 865G GA818655IME-775(brand new box packed), i connected everything exactly as i did to other prevesously. But in this mother board when i put the power on the CPU fan runs but thre is no display.. please help... The same heppens in the other one also with the same model same everything.... HELP ME
Is the power supply good enough? a P4 certified? You need at least a 400W, better anything higher for a decent machine today. Low quality PSUs do that, just will not turn on. (assuming all the rest is set and connected properly as u said, otherwise there is a trilion other possibilities, like wrong cpu type, an onboard VGA card as default, CPU power cable not connected, graphics card not seated properly, IDE cable in wrong position, etc...)
