Question about HP Compaq nx7010 Notebook

Intervideo windvd. Hi can you help? Every time I attempt to play a dvd on intervideo windvd it comes up with a message saying that my screen resolution is too high. I have turned it down and also switched my refresh screen thingo to 60 herts. It still wont play the dvd driver recognises the dvd and plays cds but it wont play a dvd what can I do?? is my computer rooted? thanks pearla

Try playing the dvd in windows media player, if it plays in that programme, then the intervideo programme is faulty.

hey make sure that your procedure in making a dvd is making a dvdmovie something like that, i think is that you just copy the video as data not a dvd format although you burn it in a dvd make sure you choose the right option in intervideo.

Hi, My Sony Vaio DVD Windows Vista computer will play some DVDs without difficulty, others it refuses to play at all, and on others, it will play all of the movie except for five minutes in the middle....


Just due to dust on your dvd lens run dvd lens cleaner and after load full drivers of dvd which either given you on time of buying or you have to download from sony site

When trying to play dvd message comes up dvd copy protected


the dvd copy protection message is annoying but just to inform you that the DVD cann't be copied without special software that breakes the code. such as clone dvd.

try the dvd in another device or reinstall winDVD or try another application on your laptop like..windows media player...etc

Did you try with some types of DVDs? If with all are the same result, it might be the setting or there is real a problem with the player software.
I m not so familiar with winDVD.
