Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
I just bought a hp mini computer and I know where the SD card reader slot is, but I am afraid to put my san disk 2 gb memory stick pro duo card in the slot. Is that what you are supposed to do? On my other computer my sister in law put my old card in it and we couldn't get it out which is why I am really hesitant.
Kindly read through the following ,link, that gives you the correct procedure to put the memory card in your computer and the compatible card list aswell.
According to the product manual , the follwing types of memory cards are compatable with your system

● Memory Stick Pro (MSP)

Ok, if the card is the same shape as the slot then you can put it, sometimes they go in upside down but try it right side up, and remember, if you want to get it back out again you have to press on it to eject it

This Tablet Personal Computer [PC] takes Micro Secure Digital [SD] Cards.
To transfer pictures from a Digital Camera to this PC, if the Camera also
takes Micro SD cards, is simply a matter of removing the Micro SD card from the Camera and installing it in the PC's Micro SD Card Slot and then waiting for the PC's AutoPlay function to serve up the photo files stored on the card, which can then be Dragged and Dropped into a photo folder on the PC.
the Camera takes SD Cards, then a Micro SD to SD Card Adapter is required so
that the PC's Micro SD Card can fit in the camera before pictures are
taken and then disconnected from the adapter afterwards, for re-insertion in the PC.
the Camera takes a different type of Memory Card, then a Multi Card Reader
might be required, which would be connected to the computer's USB Port
and the Memory Card slotted into its matching slot in the Card Reader.
