On your cam the black lens turns both directions. You will need to open your web cam so you can see and turn the lens one way or the other to get it to focus.

Why does it take an hour for my tv to have the picture come into focus. It is a blurred picture for an hour

There is an issue with the circuit(s) controlling the focusing of image. At some point in the future it will always stay unfocused.

Better look into it.

Half of the image is unfocused

Hmm - you could be wearing someone else's glasses! With a digital projector there's not really a way to blur half an image. The only thing I can recommend is for you inspect projector's display lens. See if its smeared. If so use only a lens cloth to clean it.

Canon 1d mark 4 camera viewfinder problem

Adjust the viewfinder diopter to match your eye. Remove the rubber eyecup by grasping both sides and sliding it up. Turn the little knob to the left of the viewfinder until the focus points or center metering circle appear sharp. Replace the eyecup.

Perfectly good photos but image in view finder will not focus Nikon D80 camera

Try adjusting the viewfinder diopter. There's a little dial just to the right of the viewfinder. Turn it while looking through the viewfinder. You want to be looking at an unfocused view or a blank wall. Turn the dial until the focus brackets are sharp. Make sure you do this with your shooting eye.

Image in viewfinder slightly unfocused, photo clear.

Either your viewfinder needs to be cleaned or your camera needs to be cleaned. Most of the time it is the mirror in the camera that is causing this issue and cleaning it will make everything better.

Photo is blurry and always shades of pink

This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free worldwide, and may also include free shipping both ways (free shipping varies with countries). This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check this link for more info.

Finderscope image upside down & not focused if viewing past 100 yards

The upside down image is normal for astronomical telescopes. The finder usually is a fixed focus, but it can be altered for various eye types, by rotating the objective lens for focus - the cell should move in or out on fine threads.
