Have photos and software on my i.t.flashdrive but now my laptop wont even find the flashdrive! is there any software i need to download?

No soft needed, it's a simple USB stick , the default driver is used for all. Try the stick in another pc, if it's the same then the memory chip inside it has failed and all the data on it is lost for good - junk it.

Freedownloads how to get your downloads to flashdrive so i may install to desktop that is not on line with xp servicepro 2

Assuming you already have a flashdrive plugged into the computer with an internet connection, go download a program you want, such as Google Chrome. When it says "Save" or "Run", choose save and save it to your desktop. Once the download is complete, and before installing the program onto the current computer, open the start menu and go to my computer. Plug in your flash drive and it should appear in the My Computer window. Open your flash drive and move the window such that your file on your desktop is visible. Now click and drag the file on your desktop to the flash drive. Once the transfer is complete, remove your flash drive and insert it into the computer that does not have an internet access. Then go to my computer, and locate the flash drive and open it. Move the window such that the desktop in in sight. Click and drag the file from the flash drive to your desktop. Then remove the flash drive and install the program.
Hope this helped, Nathan Taylor

Select Save, not Run, select a location for the downloaded file - the desktop will be just fine, wait for the download to end, put the flashdrive in and open it from My Computer, cut the downloaded file from the desktop and paste it in the drive. Now put the drive in the other pc and launch the file in there.

Download e-mail to the desktop and save on a flashdrive

Downloading email would be a breeze if you have it on your Outlook, for you can just drag the specific message you want to be save or download to your folder on your desktop, but if you have a web based email like Gmail, AOL, yahoo etc. the only way you can copy it is to copy the page and paste it to Microsoft Front Page and safe it as an HTML file.

Go to another computer from where you can log in to the internet. Be sure to take some kind of flashdrive with you.
Go to http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2733/session/L2F2LzEvc2lkL0R2UUtwNE5q
Download the related driver and copy it to your flashdrive and then to our laptop (desktop, preferabily) and install it from there.

Most flashdrives (aka pen drives or usb sticks) do not require installation. They are a storage device that you add information to. If you could post your OS (either XP, Vista, Linux or Mac OS X) we can go through the process of adding and reading information from the drive.
