Sharp LL T17A4-B  17 in. Flat Panel LCD Monitor

Problem with the monitor

I have red green rectangles spread across the monitor, I tried formatting my pc, I also tried restoring default factory settings, can anyone tell if my monitor is damaged or if it's my Pc ?
I have the same problem.

Have you tried another monitor on the PC?

If the cable and connector pins are okay, I would suspect a problemn with the video / signal board inside the monitor.

Dear Sir/madam
I have a seventeen Dell LCD monitor, when i start my computer the logo comes on screen and then immediately disappears the same when i press the on adn off button of the monitor it shows the display for few seconds and then immediately the screen gets black.
please solve my this problem.

use the degause function in ur monitor,
or check degausing coil,and connected p.t.c.and
related circuit

If your computer is still under warranty, go to authorized service providers so they could replace video cards w/o charge.

Otherwise, go to service centers so they could look at video card. It may be damaged and should be replaced.
