However, your software that you are using on the computer may be corrupt. i suggest that you insert the cd and instead of removing it, click repair. If this does not work, try checking the cable and make sure that it has a tight connection. One question. Did you pc make the standard beep noise when you plugged it in??? if not, then it is your computers. most likely, it is your camera or your software.
