1) Lube the Deck belt, very well according with your instruction manual maintenance.
2) Lube the rollers bearing too
3) Measure the input voltage motor, if there are The motor need repair.
4) Measure the output voltage board, for input voltage motor, if there are NOT the board is faulty. God bless you

visit wefixfitnessequipment.com and I will tell you how to flip the deck, tighten the belt and where to get lube. If you are planning on flipping the deck make sure you lube it with the right kind of lube!

My trotter 510 treadmill doesn't turn on and just gives off this high pitch sound when turned on

oh, the trotter treadmill that is a workhorse of a treadmill. Question doubled edge. does it start?? or it does not Start. the sound if it does turn on may be coming from the motor which may need new brushes. Trotter is now Cybex fitness. they will have a part to make the repair

Trotter 510 treadmill has been setting for a few years and now it runs for 60 seconds or less and then it stops and all displays go blank, plus a high pitch noise is heard until it is turned off.

I have trotter 535 - the following comes on the screen: error 4 - AC line freq out of spec - does anybody know the fix.

Error 4 is a no frequency lock or noisy line voltage. The most common fix for this to install a dedicated outlet. This is required for most treadmills out there.
