There are two clips for each light; one to each side just lift up on the clips. Then you have four upper and two lower grill clips that are the push/pull type. Just pull where the clips are located and they will pull right out. Watch for stressing the wiring going to the running lights. You then can pull the headlight grill assy out far enough to change the lights. Low beams are to the outside and high beams to the inside. DON'T TOUCH THE BULBS!!! A little twist left or right will unlock the bulbs. Use some contact grease to make sure the contacts stay good. 15 - 20 minute job.

It doesnt take special tools to do that. You might have to buy a couple of tools, but it wont cost much. Its relatively easy taking out your headlights.

How to change left turn signal bulb

Rear. 2 retainers PLUS a very tight ball socket holding the light assembly into place. Be ready to catch the tail light when you pop it of the ball socket.
Front. Use the headlight removal tool in the tool kit. Open front bonnet and push down and remove tear shape trim on headlight side in question. Place headlight tool onto spline and with one hand ready to "catch" the headlight, turn the tool until headlight pushes forward. Then remove headlight by hand and replace globe as required. Be careful of bayonet fitting. Can be fragile.

How to change the brakes on an 2005 Audi A6 I know you need a special tool to change the rear pads. But I only want to change the front pads. Is this something I can do myself or do I need to take to Audi...

The front pads are like all other cars, a rachet and a C Clamp. The special tool is sold at your local parts store, its a box with tips on it, as they screw in.

Trying to replace light bulbs, front and rear

No usually for GM vehicles there are two pins on the headlight that you pull out and up. they are L shaped upside down. If not there are bolts holding the headlights on. But no special tool needed, it is a simple job, once the headlights are off twist the bulb counter clock wise, if they have a notch depress it and remove the bulb unhook it from the harness and you are done. Installation is reverse of removal.

Transmission noise

There are no special tools to change the fluid. You have to make sure when you pull the filter off that the rubber seal comes out with it where it goes up into the trans. case. If not, you have to take a ice pick or something similar and pull that seal out. Put your new filter in, change the fluid. I would recommend putting a conditioner like Lucas trans. additive. Also, the clunking noise - you should check your axles and front motor mounts. Hope this helps. Phil
