You can get this at the local Honda dealer. All you need is your VIN#. It may cost a little but is worth getting the right code. Hope this helps.

First try

If the above suggestion is not successful ,then unfortunately the code will not be available for free (or cheap ) from anywhere on the Internet.

Main Dealer or a Decoding Service only

1992 Acura legend radio code

There is a little card (biz card size or smaller) or sticker with a code on it in the Owner's Manual. Well, they actually issue it separately and you're supposed to keep it with your car documents somewhere.

If that is lost, the only legitimate way I know of is your local Honda/Acura dealer. They will get it for you based on the serial number of the radio or the VIN of the car. They will charge you labor to extract the radio from the dash to get the serial#. If you pull the radio yourself they may waive the fee, but you should have the matching car there with you so they will feel comfortable it's not hot. I wrote the code for my old radio in sharpie right on the radio - you could check to see if someone already did this before.

I have a 2001 Acura CL S-type, I took out the radio to install a converter, the fuse had blew out so replace and now the radio screen keep saying code, I need the code to unlock the radio.

Assuming your radio is the original for this vehicle you simply take your vehicle ownership and registration papers to the workshop of your car manufacturer and they can get the code from the Ford computer network on the spot.

If the code does not work then it means that this radio is not the original for your car as it would have been replaced with them radio model.
If your radio is an after vehicle purchase, you may need to contact the radio manufacturer.
Or get their contact details through your local car audio dealer.

How can I get my radio working in my 2002 Honda Civic? It says to enter a code but where can I find this code? It's a used car and I do not have the owners manual.

You need to call the Honda dealer. they will most likely give you a number for support. You will most likely have to take out your radio and give them the serial number, then they usually ask you to fax them your drivers license and registration. Then they will give you a code. I had to do that with my acura and im assuming its the same for honda,

Battery wasnt workng in my honda crv 2001....So when i replaced it...my radio wasnt working at all...it demanded a access code, wich i dont have...im just trying to obtain this code????

I have a 2001 Honda CR-V as well. I removed all the stock sound system from it and replaced everything. I noticed a serial number on the radio once you slide it out, and that can be brought to a nearby Honda dealership. There they can scan the serial number and give you the corresponding radio code, for free. Also, perhaps check in the glove box or manual for any stickers or text concerning the code.
