This is extremely useful if the gearbox on your drill is damage... ... i was using my dewalt hammer drill in the drill mode and suddenly got slower i though the battery was running out. as i ...Looking forward to the repair video.
If you need to drill a hole into tiles for what ever reason.
the best and easiest way is to place a cross of tape on the postition of drilling and drilling through the tape.
your drill bit will stay completely still and cut a smooth hole
Make sure the speed selector lever on the top of the tool is all the way in gear, and the dial selector on the tool is in drill or hammer drill mode. If in screw mode make sure it's set to a level that it won't "clutch" out.
there should be a slider type switch on top of the drill. and there will be a picture of a hammer, and a picture of a drill. slide accross to the drill picture for drill, and hammer for the hammer drill
if your in hurry & away from the service center all you need to do is just loosen the 4 screw that holds the clutch housing & set it # 1 & back to drill mode couple of times. do not remove clutch if your not sure co'z its got tiny needle bearing on front of the transmission.this is just a temporary fix . it may happened again.
