I have a windows vista and im trying to look for a free antivirus..what would be your suggestion?

I HIGHLY suggest using "Avira" anitvirus for your computer, it's extremely dependable, accurate, as well as being very light on your computer's resources (memory usage).

Hope this helps. :)

I recently removed trojans off my mums computer and now its blockin the internet pages can not download or access facebook, message says that computer is not protected.

You still have the trojan. Tha's why they are called trojans, because they hide and re-appear.

Try at least five different scanners. But ultimately, you may have to re-install Windows.

Go to AVG and download the trial version of AVG 8. Install it and run a virus scan. AVG will find it and get rid of it. Also there is a company called Cerulean Studios that makes a program called Trillian for IM. It is a great program and you can IM people with AIM IM, Yahoo IM and MSN messenger all at the same time. Try it. There is a free version.
