Re- set phone to factory settings. This will erase your memory.

Try the last four digits of your phone number.

Bluetooth "device out of range or powered off"

I had lots of trouble too. I thought it was my phone. Well here's what you do. First off remove the device completely from your phone. Turn off the phone and take the battery off so it can re-boot. When the phone is powered back up put your bluetooth in pairing mode and get it back on your phone. It should connect without any problems. is the trick. When you want to disconnect the device(bluetooth) from your phone don't turn it off on your phone. Shut the actual power off on your bluetooth. The phone will recognize this and disconnect the device. The only thing left on your phone will be the bluetooth icon. Being the icon still on your phone it is still in discovery mode and can overtime use up your battery life searching for a device. This is when you can go to your phone and turn off the bluetooth. On your NV 2 go to your bluetooth menu and just use your left softkeyto turn it off. Now there is no connection whatsoever. And to turn it back on do the opposite. Go to your bluetooth menu and turn on your bluetooth. You will see the bluetooth icon. Now you power up the bluetooth and it will connect as soon as it get the signal. This took me 2 weeks of trial and error and other stuff but I am happy now and I hope this solves any bluetooth problems...

Headset icon on 6085

I trawled the net looking for answers. Some suggestions were, take out battery and sim for a few minutes, restore factory settings, clean connections... someone even suggested you put it on the washing machine while it was in use! I tried all of the above without success (yes, even the washing machine one). I rang the Nokia helpline and all they offered was the suggestions above and to send it in to be fixed. I was answering the phone with the headset in, just by chance, after a day or so I removed the headset and voila! problem had solved itself, icon was removed. It did come back when someone made me a call but I put the headset in for a few minutes then took it out and the icon went away. Hope this helps :)
