Speaker phone problem
It is possible. I have ATT 945(?) 4 line phones that communicate via a DSL-like signal between units to do special things like intercom, etc.
What I have in my setup is that I have a seperate line from the point of entry of my phone line to my DSL modem.
I then have TWO stacked DSL filters PER LINE that feed the main phone line running to all the phones.
Be AWARE that when using the speaker phone there is a modulation of the gains both directions. When you talk OR have a noisy background noise, the gain of the speaker is cut down to prevent feedback. And when you go silent, the speaker gain is increased for you to hear the other side of the call. Essentially it takes as much discipline as the old two-way radios... one talker at a time with these speaker phones AND very little background noise.
flex cable?? whats that lol
Same problem, my earphone crackled a few times, then went dead. Speaker phone is the only thing that works.
I hate the fact Embarq has NO help. This phone has never been able to reach the internet, and there is no pic messaging. I do not how much longer we have on this contract, but I will never go with Embarq, nor Sprint.
I am facing the same problem.
My motorazr works only in speaker mode.
When the phone is switched on, i cant hear anything unless i switch ON the speaker..
i can make calls but the person on the other end can not hear me
