If your Sennheiser RS 175 TV headset has a green lit power light that blinks on and off and doesn't have any volume, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
Check the batteries: Ensure that the batteries are charged and inserted correctly into the headset. You may also want to try replacing the batteries with fresh ones.
Check the audio source: Make sure that the audio source is turned on and the volume is turned up. You may also want to try connecting the headset to a different audio source to see if the problem is with the source.
Check the audio cable: If you are using an audio cable to connect the headset to the audio source, make sure that it is plugged in securely at both ends.
Reset the headset: Try resetting the headset by turning it off, unplugging the transmitter from the power source, waiting for a few minutes, and then plugging the transmitter back in and turning the headset on again.
Check for interference: Make sure that the transmitter and headset are not too far apart or obstructed by walls or other objects. Also, ensure that there are no other devices nearby that may be causing interference.
If none of these troubleshooting steps work, you may need to contact Sennheiser customer support or take the headset in for repair.
These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
Blinking codes details to many popular brand TVs are given. Surf the site with patience.
What is the source of the TV signal? I know many monitors have a "power-saving mode" that returns the unit to standby if there is no signal coming in.
Check that the signal cables are working (try swapping cables). Make sure the source is on before turning on the TV. Press the Input button to select a different source. Make sure that the source signal is not refreshing (or synching) at a rate that is incompatible with the TV. (If your source is a PC that was previously connected to a CRT monitor, the refresh rate should be reset to 60 Hz before connecting the computer the the Pioneer 424MV.)
I hope this helps.
Cindy Wells (Pioneer TVs usually give a blink code if there is a hardware problem that prevents it from turning on.)
Does anything ever post to the lcd screen when you press the power button to boot it? Does it every show you things like which key to hit to get into the Bios or System Setup?
I think you have a corrupt or missing boot file or system file. The blinking cursor is indicative of that. Try running the Check Disk Utility from your XP CD.
To run the check disk utility you will need a repair disc ora operating system disc. Put the disc in the cd drive and boot fromit. You want to get to the Dos Command Prompt (Black screen with whiteletters) and type the following command: chkdsk /r Check disk will run well over an hour or two and you will notice thepercentages going from high to low, this is normal. Let it run tocompletion. Then reboot machine.
If check disk fails to solve your problem you might have to reinstall windows.Try doing a Repair Install that way you don't loose your data, documents, music, pictures, videos or programs.
In windows xp you get to the dos command prompt by selecting R for repair whenthe options appear.
In Vista and Windows 7 you want to get to the recoveryconsole and look down at the bottom of the window for the Dos Command.
the problem is in your motherboard..this most cause unregulated flow of power from the source electric..but if the green led is off so its the processor.try to test it with a motherboard tester..or get another board that same spec with the you have, and transfer the processsor if it is working
red light is stands for hardware boot and the green one is stands for system boot and disc boot. when red light remains solid it means your system is in 0% cpu usage and nothing doing, stop working
if the light just constantly blicks green and doesnt stop. You will need the" V26 DM repair kit " which will usually repair that issue. You can get the repair kit at the following link which includes the replacement capacitor and instructions http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/
u must be be sure yr system is up n working most times u power it u see the green led that one is bcos its on a power source. now couple yr system back the way it was. power it on make sure the green led is on, then press the caps lock or the fn + num lock key on yr keyborad n see if the caps lock led n num lock led will come up. if it doesnt come up then yr system wont display even with a CRT. now remove yr ram(memory) then replace it back n be sure its seated firmly again power yr system up if it doesnt come up try using a diff ram thats working well n test yr system again. if still not on then try replacing the processor. next tell me what happend so i know.
