I have a high pitched noise coming from my TV after about 3 hours of use. If I turn it off for 8 or more hours I can use it again for 3 hours. The noise is not coming from the speakers as I have plugged in headphones and muted the speakers. The noise is located at the back of the TV. I have found no useful tips online as this model doesn't seem to exist and yes I have the 32 inch model which is the standard screen version and not the 16:9.
Please help if you know what this may be.

Re: Noise Issues with Samsung Dynaflat TX-P3264H
Yes ur right that is a flyback that is leaking! it produces a high pitch sound. well if u want to be sure that ur part is genuine. go to the manufacturing authorized service center. for sure they have available part. try also to look into the horizontal cuircuit. there might be something else that was damaged. probably the horizontal output transistor. gud luck

Its so high pitched that some people can barely hear it, but I guess I have sensitive hearing. ... Anyway, this seems to be a fairly common issue and it is caused by either the ... You're probably hearing a transformer humming.
Dec 30, 2008 - In my case, the monitor was fine for the first two months. But then started making a buzzing noise... 1) when on, 2) worse when .... my Samsung TV ismaking high pitched noises even if its turned off. I will NEVER EVER EVER ...
That high pitched sound is likely the Horizontal Output section trying to work. It operates at 15,750 Hz or at the upper end of normal human ears. It will sound like a high pitched whine.
This is a section or your television that you don't want to fool with unless you are quite familiar with servicing your set. There are very high voltages involved and only a qualified technician should tend to this defect. It maybe easy to fix or it may be quite involved. Get an estimate first then decide to go further or not. There is a potential fire hazard here so don't operate your set until this is resolved.
According to the Samsung website: "The high pitched sound you hear is probably coming from the flyback transformer. The flyback transformer converts the relatively low voltage electricity that comes from the outlet in your home to the high voltage electricity needed to drive the cathode ray tube in your TV. It is not unusual for a flyback transformer to buzz softly when it operates. However, if the sound is loud and high pitched, it probably means the transformer is failing. To eliminate the sound, you will have to get your TV serviced."
what you are hearing is the mechanical vibrating of coils & or transformers in the tv. 1st and easyest is to hot glue the parts that is making the noise down. if that does not work, removing & reinstalling the part is next. the last is replacement. the most likely parts causing is the 1. horizontal linearity coil, 2. the run or switch mode transformer, or 3. the flyback transformer.
