Question about Liebherr Refrigerators

1 Answer

I have just purchased a Liebherr pull out larder fridge to replace the one I already had, I am having problems getting the door seal to stay in place at the top of the fridge. When I push it closed firmy, the seal touches the metal surround of the fridge but as soon as I let go the top of the fridge door pulls away from the actual fridge by about 1 cm thus allowing warm air into the fridge. It was a really expensive fridge but I chose it because I liked the pull out design-am now starting to regret it-Help!! What can I do-it's brand new but don't think it will last long if warm air continually getting into it- many thanks Jean

Are you talking about the center door gaskets? If so, Purchase new gaskets Left and Right (2 different part numbers) from Adco Service of Scottsdale AZ. The gaskets pull out from the two grooves and put liquid soap in the new gasket channel that holds the heater wire. Observe the channel where the wire came from.. Insert the heater wire slowly until it is at the end. Starting at the top, insert the gasket tongue that is towards the inside if the refrigerator first all the way down, then insert the side at the edge of the door. Be sure to firmly seat the gasket

Alarm is going off (beeping) - ice accumulating on rear freezer wall.

hi check the doors seals if it closed perfectly and do not open the fridge or freezer door for long time because if you forgot one of the doors open it will make this problem and do not put hot or warm food inside most important to be sure that the seals stuck good when you close the fridge doors.

Bosch larder fridge door pops open

The lower hinge on each door may have a door closing cam. It raises the door up ¼ inch when opening and this assist in closing the door. If it’s wore out and doesn’t work the door may not seal and the gasket can be damaged. Watch the operation of the door to see if it rises up when opened.

Leave the door shut and let the magnetic gasket hold the door in place. Put something between the bottom of the door and the floor to hold it in case it slips.
Remove the bracket holding the pin and hinge assembly taking note of order of removal of parts. Slide new cams on. You probably need two.
