My dryer makes a squeaky sound during adrying

the front guides around the drum or the bearing at the back may be failing partially or bearings in the motor may have started to noise, there is also the chance that the belt idle pulleys have started to wear, more than lightly it is the belt idle pulleys that have dried up or the bushings have started to wear

Loud pop (sounded like a gunshot) during final spin cycle than heard constant noise. Does this sound like a busted bearing or belt? The tumble wheel is now very loose (easy to move and turn inside washing...

if the drum is very easy to turn with no resistance then the belt is likely broken and needs replacing. This is like changing the fan belt on a car where you loosen the bolts on the motor and hinge it towards the drum. Once the belt is in position, lever the motor back away from the drum to tension the belt and tighten the bolts.

Loud grinding noise when spinning. So I layed the machine down on its front to work on it. I loosened the belt, and then removed the lint catcher pump. I cleaned the pump by flushing and reverse flushing...

Just so you know, in the first place, (NEVER PLACE A WASHING MACHINE IN ANY POSITION BUT UPRIGHT. That's just asking for a leaking gearcase (transmission)! Your best bet is to call a technician. It sounds more like stress on the drivetrain from the water weight! The only way to tell would be to pull the case off to observe the tub as the water fills to see if the tub is indeed pusing downward!

My Bosch Nexxt Essence front load washer is making a knocking and squeaking noise during the whole spin cycle. It sounds like it's coming from the drum mounts - what should we do?

My Bosch Nexxt Essence front load washer will not drain. I changed the lint filter, and insured that the drainage hose was free of debris. I removed all the wet clothes, wrung out the excess water, and redistributed the clothes. Still, no draining or spinning. Initially there was a humming sound, but now there is no sound at all when I try to restart the drain or spin cycles. All the lights are appropriately "on".

Did i loosen the belt or break the belt ?

Toso, If your model number starts with 110, you don't have a belt to worry about. This is a direct drive washer. The clicking noise could be any number of things such as; something passing through the pump, something under the agitator or something caught in between the basket and tub. The hot smell could be the motor getting hot from the load. It's really hard to tell without being there, but it doesn't sound to serious...Catriver...post back.
