Question about Whirlpool 24 in. DU1055XTP Built-in Dishwasher
The green light above the clean button flashes seven times and the dishwasher will not start. i have checked the water supply and if the float was stuck, both were ok. the diswasher was full when it failed. it filled with water and began it's cycle then shut down. the only feature that still works is the drain cycle when the drain button is pushed. how do i reset the dishwasher.
This worked!! Thank you, we were ready to buy another dishwasher and you saved us around $400.00...
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

TURN off the electricity supply.Remove the left hand panel and see the wiring on the plastic water chamber(Two black wires to a blue connection on a cicuit board) Clean this connection. Replace the side.Turn electricity supply on. Hold down the start button till it resets. Job done.

I had success with the "Hi-Temp Wash - Normal - Hi-Temp Wash - Normal" sequence of button selections. This must occur within 6 seconds and initiates an internal diagnosis of the machine. The process runs for about 19 min. and shuts off. During the process several LED's light up and several funtions start and stop. If the machine has no broken systems, you should be able to open the door add some soap and the usual dirty dishes and carry on with normal operation. Thats all I have done and the wife is no longer on the war path. Good Luck
