Question about Philips GOGEAR SA6045 MP3 Player
Use your "Philips Media Converter"
Download it from the CD that came with your mp3 player.
Send the AVI file to the Converter, and it will automatically convert it into whatever format it needs to play it.

SOURCE: I have a Philips GoGear
The videos have to be run through the Philips (Arcsoft) Media Converter that came with the installation CD - if you have lost it, you can get it from www.usasupport.philips.com
You have to drag and drop music files directly from the folder they are stored in to the music folder of the GoGear - using Windows Explorer is easiest. Be careful which WMA's you transfer - older GoGears (and a few of the newer ones) supported copyright-protected WMA's - the SA3020 does not support them.
