Is the Ipod on when you connect it? If so, reset it and connect it again. If that doesn't work, check that the cord you are using isn't broken or your Ipod's jack isn't messed up. If it still doesn't work try a different usb slot on your computer.

My ipod touch says disabled connect to itunes but i dont own the computer it was originally used with and it wont connect to itunes. how can i get around this and restore factory settings?

If you dont mind losing everything on the ipod -- connect to your computer and sync with your iTunes.
This will replace everything on the ipod with the contents of your itunes.

If this is not what you want, you will need to google - removing songs from ipod
this will give you various ways depending on your set up on how to get the tracks off your ipod without going through itunes.

If it says connect to iTunes and its a screen of a USB cable going to the iTunes symbol, then connect and restore your iPod or try holding the power/sleep button and home button on iPod to reboot.

My ipod touch says IPOD Disabled connect to itunes, i dont know the four password, what do i do to enabled my ipod touch?

I would preform a restore via iTunes. That should reset everything. Then resync to get your music back onto your iPod.

I just got my ipod and it says for it to connect it to the itunes. i have but it still says i have to. dont know what to do?

You need to have iTunes installed on your computer. It's a free download from Apple. Load your CD's into iTunes or buy songs from the Apple iTunes Music Store. Connect your iPod with the cable that came with it to the USB port on your computer. In iTunes, click and synch.

Why does my ipod say connect to itunes

I second that solution marynelson37 gave you.  What kind of question is that anyways?  Do what the ipod says.  Open up itunes and then hook the sync cord up to your computer and ipod.

I keep putting songs on my ipod and the computer says that it has been downloaded but when i get on my ipod it dosent show up some people are saying it needs to be synchorized but i dont know how to do...

use itunes to put the songs on your ipod it freely downloadable at the apple website at

www.apple.com/itunes

Once installed it will ask you if you want to put any mp3s on itunes once they are there you can then drag songs onto your ipod once connected by your usb cable. Or use ipod panel to synch songs from there.

Hope this helps

I just bought a ipod touch on da street an it says disabled connect to itunes and when i do it says put in the passcode and i dont have the passcode how can i reset it or get in it to use it? please does...

You need to reset you Ipod to factory default. This will erase everything on the unit but since you just bought it that should not be an issue.

Make sure that the ipod is not connected to your computer yet. but Itunes is running.
1. Power Off the Ipod by holding down the power button for about 5 seconds then sliding the power off.
2. Press and hold the Home button and plug the Ipod back into the computer. Keep holding the home button until you get past the apple logo. You should then be prompted to go into recovery mode on your ipod.

To put songs on it you need to download iTunes from the here and this tells you how do it. The Hold button just stops you from pressing the main buttons when in your pokect by deactivating them.
