In order to turn on the Flash on your FUJIFILM FinePix Z70 Z71 try to follow these Steps :

1. Press the Flash icon on the right selector till you get the Mode you want.
2. ready for use.

During the boot up process you will see on the screen press a certain key to enter set up

Press either delete or f2 during the boot up process to enter BIOS scroll down to set user password or supervisor password you can change or remove your password from there

my Nissin Di466 had all the lights playing up at the back with nothing really working. I took out the batteries to find one had leaked. have know cleaned it up with it turning on ok, but dose not work on camera through ttl. Will not flash when shutter pressed.

When this camera is in "Auto" mode the only flash functions available are Auto or Flash Off - in order to get the option of "Flash On" for all pictures you have to put the camera in "Manual" mode - to do this:

-Set the mode switch to the camera icon
-Press the "Func./Set" button
-Use the left or right arrow keys to set it to Manual mode (its icon looks like half a camera with the letter M beside it)
-Press the "Func./Set" button again to save your mode change.

Now when you press the flash button and cycle through the choices there will also be a "Flash On" option.

ok on the side were u have the screen do u see the circle ok you press the lleft arow amd the flash should be onif not uyour camera is not working with the flash

press the menu button, then press the down arrow until it says "set contrast" then push the menu button again and then push the up arrow for darker contrast, the down button for lighter. when finished, push the menu button again

I do not exactly know the menu of your photo camera, but on my Olympus there is the left button on the cross button that exists at the back of the camera. By pressing it once while you are in the "Shot" mode, not in "Play" mode you activate it. If you press again you de-activate it. Therefore, as you can understand the operation is toggled by pressing the left button on the cross. You also have an icon which everytime you press the button it "tells" you if the Flash is ON or OFF.
