Question about Heavy Machinery
I have a Troy Bilt Chipper Shredder Vacuum (CSV 060 with a 5.5 HP Briggs & STratton engine). I have been using it with no problems for 3 or 4 years. Today the engine seems to be stuck. I can't even pull the starting cord. I looked and the blades seem not to have any obstruction, so I'm sure it is the engine. I know I haven't added oil in a while, and I put some, but I don't know if that's the lack of oil is the cause.
This is indeed caused by the problem of lack of oil, but should not be much problem. Frequently used machines require maintenance. You can refer to the following URL: http://educationcare.in/en-machine/3306.html

there should be a set screw in the impeller holding it on the shaft.take the set screw out.then the impeller should come off.if it doesn't come off easily you need to heat the hub that the set screw was in.this expands the metal so that the impeller will come off..........there is no easy way to do this job........hope this helps, let me know..................

Straight 30w NOT 10w-30
prefer air-cooled engine oil from mower dealers or some auto supply stores have air cooled engine oil.
