You probably dont get any signal from graphic card. try cables and connections, also check computer.

Power blue light flashing when i turn the computer on

It depends on where the blue light is. Is the blue light on the monitor or on the computer tower? If it is on the monitor the monitor is having problems and needs to be serviced. If it is on the tower it could be an issue with the power supply.

I turn on the computer and my monitor just flashes the blue light, nver comes on.

only two things. It might be the Video Adapter or the Monitor. First, try the monitor on another Pc then if it does work, try to insert-reinsert your video card that is a rectangular shape with a fan if the screen keeps appearing in blue, then you might have to replace your video card but make sure that you know what kind of socket do you have whether it's a PCI-express or AGP it's best to consult that to a trusted techinician.

Thanks and God bless!

I have an Acer X1700 desktop - 3 days old by the way. Runs Vista Home Premium. 1 day after arrival, pushed power button. Monitor light is blue, flashes the Acer logo, then says "no signal" and blue light...

I would get ahold of acer. It should be under warrenty. sounds like a hard drive issue to Me. Just because it is new doesn't mean it was right from the start. My neighbour had the same problem with his acer. I told him to but a dell or hp. good luck.

Monitor and keyboard won't turn on

A couple of things here:

1) The flashing light and signal message indicate that the monitor is functioning but is not receiving a signal from the computer.

2) The memory that you added is liklely to be incompatible with the computer itself and is preventing the system from booting. The computer will perform a selftest when powered on. Normally when there is a memory issue, the unit will beep. In some cases, there will be no action.

Remove the added memory and attempt to boot the system. If it starts up OK, then the memory you have added is the problem.

Update this if you require additional assistance.

Thanks,
Dan

Does not power up

Is the amber light flashing on the monitor?

If so, you should get your power supply checked.
