Question about Sony VPL-HS51A / VPL-HS60 Multimedia Projector
I am trying to find out why there is a blue haze on the left side of the screen of my Sony cineza vpl-hs50 projector. I replaced the bulb but it is still there. Someone mentioned the processor may be failing or the mirror may need cleaning. Can anyone tell me if this is a complex issue or simple that I can fix on my own.
I also have the same problem -- the fix is to replace the optical block ( Internal lamp engine ) which is a $1,100 part. I just purchased a used projector for half the price of the part.
