Kingston USB key Data Traveler 8GB doesn't work well when more than 512 MB are copied in it. Same problem with different computers (with Windows XP SP2 or SP3). Same problem when formatted with FAT32 or NTFS.

If you have not tried this already, go to control panel, click on administrative tools, then double click computer management. In the left pane under computer management, click on disk management.
Make sure your Kingston data disk is plugged in to your usb port. In the right pane you should see your flash disk represented by a white bar with blue line on top. Right-click on the white bar and select "delete partition" Once the partition is deleted, right-click the bar once again and select create partition. Once you have created this partition, you should have the use of the maximum capacity of the flash drive.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How i format my 16gb data traveler

If your computer is XP, Vista or Windows 7, right click on the "My Computer" icon,
then left click on "Manage", on the left side list left click on :"Disk Management".
If your fash drive is pluged in and detected it will appear on the list of drives.
Look for the 16GB drive, then left click to have a list of option to perform on
the drive. Select "Format" and a pop-up window will appear for formatting options.
I recommend "Fat 32", as it is best for normal transport or backup option.

Hello p.c. proffessional's: my name is Harold, I just recieved a Kodack ESP 3200 series...All in one printer for Christmas. My two questions for now are, Can i hook this printer to my xp window...

Question 1: You should be able to hook it up to that.
Question 2: It's rather simple - here are the steps (these will work on any USB printer):
1. Install the drivers from the CD.
2. Plug in the printer's power (If it hasn't told you to already).
3. Plug in the USB cable (If it hasn't told you to already).

probably, the driver was not installed by default.
