Question about Apple iPhone Smartphone
Ive made a couple posts about solutions/reasons about the iphone/itouch touch sensor not operating properly, so you are not alone.
Make sure that you dont have more than one finger touching the screen when you go to tap it. I realize this sounds silly, but sometimes I will hold mine so that my thumb is barely touching the screen in mid-touch or mid-text and nothing will happen.
If the problem continues, it is most likely the touch sensor malfunctioning. This leaves you two options:
1.) Calling the warranty number on the apple website for techincal assitance or going into one of their stores (where they are cool enough to usually fix their products on the spot).
2.) Sounds daunting, but a hard reset is said to solve this problem. The only downside is that you will lose all of your songs, favs, etc. and be left with the original factory settings.
