Question about HP Officejet 5610 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Installation program says get system administrator or main user (me) to log on, then reinstall disc... i've done that several times, same problem
Open computer, right click on the Cd and click run as administrator. If its Vista on your computer. If its XP then create a admin account with the name HP just to installation. The install will happen properly if you install it under the New admin account.

I beleive you are trying to install the software from the installation CD. I assume that you are using the Vista operating system. So, I recommend you to download the HP Software from the web site and then check with the result.
