Question about Nokia 2630 Cell Phone (Unlocked) - Black
I bought this phone last week and it worked Ok after I put my SIM card in. I then got a USB data cable and downloaded the lastes Nokia PC suite to transfer all my old videos/photos to my new phone. Connected PC to phone OK, and it was downloading all the photos when the display suddenly went blank. Disconncted the cable, and held the red key to start the phone up. It starts with a blank display, the light is on permamently and no response from the phone. Tried with the SIM card out with the same result.
I hope I havent overwitten the firmware? Is there any way to solve this?

SOURCE: SAMSUNG E250i sim crash problem
hi, don't panic! You mobile phone is fine, problem is with the sim card. Try inserting sim card in some other phone (Try Nokia) it will definitely work. If you dont hav different mobile phone then carry your sim card to customer care and they will change the same and give you duplicate sim. They may charge something for duplicate sim card.

Have had many similar issue with Nokia phones & PC Suite connections - works fine then stops - in add remove programs there is an entry called PC Connectivty Solution - it does not say Nokia unless you go change then it says Nokia - remove this, the Nokia suite & Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver - restart PC, switch off phone, remove battery, switch on, reinstall and it should work.
