Question about Sony KV-27V36 27" TV
When the power switch is turned on, the red power light blinks but the picture doesnot come on the screen. Please tell me what the problem is and how much it may cost to fix it. Thanks.
The symptom is usually caused by a breakdown in the power supply circuit. in most modern receivers (transistorized and/or ic), it may also be caused by a breakdown in the horizontal deflection circuits (hor. oscillator, pre-drive, or drive circuits). supply voltages for the tuner, video if,sound if, and vertical output are usually supplied by the horizontal output circuit. but if you doesnt know anything about these stuffs, better bring it to a qualified service tecnhician. i cannot tell you the cost to fix your tv coz my location is in the Philippines.
