Is my LG900GHL unlockable?

Hi, I have an LG900GHL cell phone I want to unlock to get TMobile Prepaid. This model doesn't appear on any of the lists at unlocking sites. I assume it is not unlockable. What do you know? Thanks

you need to contact the carrier or motorola for an unlock code. They are the safest. You can use some of the sites out there but if the wrong unlock code is entered too many times the phone will be permanently locked to the original carrier.

Same problem here. AT&T doesn't want to give out the number just so we can transfer chips from old phones. They want ya to buy a new plan and phone.

  3. Verify the IMEI by typing *#06#.
  4. Insert a Non-T-Mobile SIM & turn the phone on.
  5. The phone will automatically prompt you to enter the code into an empty field.
  6. Click/Tap in the empty field above the "Unlock & Dismiss" options (this will display a key pad on the screen).

I have a G1 but i forgot my pattern so i reset it ; i went to tmobile to buy a sim card but they told me i cant use prepaid , ive looked up how to unlock a G1 and every website saids i need the code to...
No you dont need to buy an unlock code if you simply forgot your password code, all you must do is do a hard reset on the phone. and yes you can use it prepaid or with whatever plan you want, all you do is insert your tmobile sim card, i have a flex account with tmobile and i just inserted the sim card, You dont have to contact tmobile.

Hold the Home and Power keys down at same time for about 25 seconds. You will see a yellow triangle screen with exclamation point in the middle.Now to wipe the device clean:

Press Alt+L. Press Alt+W for a factory reset.
Press the Home and Back keys again for about 25 seconds.
The device should then reset again and the hard reset is complete.
