Question about Panasonic E-Wear SD SV-SW30 256 MB MP3 Player

1 Answer

Not Connecting When i connect the mp3 to the compuer with the USB cable, a window pops up and it starts to load or look for a folder called player. After it finishes, i went into My computer and clicked on the drive where my mp3 is. There was no folder also, when i went to properties to see the information about the mp3, it showed 0 for everything. I went to device manager and it says the mp3 was working. Then i plugged out the mp3 so i can try again. The mp3 basically froze and only said USB CONNECTED on the screen. Someone please help.

How do I down load the music to my MP3 player

You should connect your playes to the computer using the USB cable it has. It should appear as a Retrivable Disk. Depending on bran, some has a folder called music, Copy your mp3 files to that folder.

How to put msic on it

Hi,
Install the Windows driver included in the product package before connecting your Sylvania MP3 player. Insert the included driver CD into your CD-ROM drive and run the setup file if it does not load automatically. This driver makes sure your computer can recognize and operate the Sylvania MP3 player.
  • 2 Insert one end of the USB cable into the USB port on the Sylvania MP3 player.
  • 3 Insert the other end of the same USB cable into the USB port on the computer.
  • 4 Wait for the computer to recognize the Sylvania MP3 player as a connected device. Open your file manager or browser to locate the Sylvania MP3 player as a drive or connected device if your computer does not prompt you automatically.
  • 5 Open the file folder containing the MP3 or WMA digital music files you wish to download to your Sylvania MP3 player.
  • 6 Drag and drop the file or folder icons of your desired digital music onto the Sylvania MP3 player device icon. Drag and drop the digital music into open folders within the Sylvania MP3 player device icon as well.

  • You will need USB cable .
  • It will be provided with your mp3 player.
  • Connect your RCA MP3 player to your computer with the USB cable that came with the player. Plug one end into the Opal player and plug the other end into your computer's USB port.
  • Open the Rca's USB flash drive. Click "Start." Click "My Computer." Click the "USB Mass Storage Drive."
  • Open another "My Computer" window, and locate the music that you wish to download onto your RCA MP3 player. Click "Start." Click "My Computer." Click "My Documents." Click "My Music."
  • Drag and drop the music files you wish to download onto your mp3 player's "Internal Storage" folder (for Windows Vista) or the "Media" folder (for Windows XP).

  • Enjoy the songs....

    Cant get passed recovery mode

this came from another post on fix ya.

For me the solution was this:
After entering the recovery mode (turn off the player, move the hold button to the right, and press the on and rec button, then connecting to the computer).
when the 16 mb folder opens create a NEW FOLDER (not a text document) called "Sansa.fmt". then disconec the usb and it was fixed.

Can someone walk me thru getting this mp3 player to work?

Connecting your mp3 player to your computer Connect one end of the USB cable to your computer’s USB Port. Then connect the smaller end of the USB cable to your MP3 players USB Port. Turn the unit on. In MS Windows a new icon will appear in “My Computer”. “Removable Disk” will appear in my computer. Windows recognizes it as a removable disk.
    Transferring Files and Folders
    1. Find files or folders you wish to transfer.
    2. Select and highlight
    3. Use Copy command
    4. Go to “My Computer”
    5. Locate and open “Removable Disk”
    6. Once opened, paste file to “Removable Disk” folder.
If you still have a problem, please call USA based tech support
    Mon-Fri 9am-4pm at 1-800-998-7771
Now to download from cds you need to record the cds to the computer. I would use something like itunes to build a song libary.

    Good Luck

How CAn I put mp3 Player On my friendster

For that you will need a PC/Laptop with USB port.
Connect you player to it, wait until: found new harware ILO MP3 player ...new harware is successfully installed and ready to use. After that the window will pop up: you will need to click:open folder to view files. If no window will pop up, click my computer, find the ilo MP3 player, double click.
After that you can copy your songs (in MP3 format) from any source and insert them to you ilo MP3 folder ( it might have a subfolder, called songs) and you are good to go.
    Good luck
