Camera taking wierd pictures

I've had the exilim z77 for a little over a year and now when i take pictures it usually comes out too bright and there are many lines going across all the pictures. I have dropped my camera a few times though, but its been fine.

Look for the reset to factory settings for your casio. i could also be the settings have been changed so more light is coming in the camera which explains your bright pictures. but the lines across ALL the pictures warn something of a CCD/Cmos sensor problem.

My casio exilim got virus and im unable to see my files. And it only contains of virus files that cant open. what can i do to solve this kind of problem?

All digital cameras I've ever seen do not run unsigned code (or any code for that matter) so it's very highly unlikely (or impossible) that your camera has a virus. It's probably just broken.

Put a different memory card into your camera and take a picture. If it doesn't work normally then your camera is likely broken. If it works normally then your original memory card is corrupt. If that's the case use a memory card reader (sold at Staples/Amazon/CVS) and try a program like Card Recovery, Digital Picture Recovery, or ZAR. You can usually get everything back if you didn't already overwrite everything by trying to take a bunch of pictures on a corrupt card.

If the camera itself is broken, just buy a memory card reader and get the pictures off through a computer or you can just go to a photo kiosk at any pharmacy. If you want to fix the camera, buy the parts online or buy that identical used camera from eBay in an As-is auction for next to nothing and swap parts with your own. Personally, I would just buy a new camera though. They're cheap.

My camera says lens error makes a weird noise and will not take a picture

little cameras like the exilim have very tiny motors and gears and it's easy to get sand or dirt in the gears and destroy them, which is what I figure has happened to yours. Since it can't get the lens to do what it wants, it will not take pictures until the lens gets into the correct position, and since it can't, the camera won't fire

Lines across picture and extremely bright

It looks like the CCD has problem. but you can try to reconnect the CCD cable first. if it doesn't help, you need to replace the CCD or lens unit.

Casio exilim lens retracts wen u press to take pic

The battery probably needs charging. The camera will automatically shut down if the battery is going flat.
With the Exilim you need to make sure that you don't overcharge the battery by leaving it permanently docked in it's little docking station - this can damage the battery. There is an LED on the docking station which shows the status of the battery. Red is charging, green is fully charged - take it off the docking station.

OVer exposure

If the photo shoot out show white , the obscure (quality variation), and even horizontal line ( white lines), and so on over-exposure cases, even if the use of anti-tremor, set to default values are invalid, because the camera shutter fault.

Can't repair by yourself.
It's need repair camera machine shutter.
